This Sesame Street book features a day when Bert goes to work at “Hooper’s Store” to fill in for David. Bert learns what it is like to run a small restaurant but while doing so, accidently breaks David’s favorite teapot. Bert tries to get it fixed but it could not be repaired and his friends offered him alternatives to the teapot but Bert didn’t think they would work. When David returned to the store, Bert tells him what happened and offers to save up his money and buy a new one but David is very understanding and all he wants in return is for Bert to come back and work again the next week, which made Bert very happy!
