Girls and Young Women Entrepreneurs
This book is intended to introduce the reader to entrepreneurship through numerous young women who started their own businesses providing goods or services. The young women and their businesses are profiled which range from making and selling cheesecakes to visiting homes as Santa. The reader also learns steps in becoming an entrepreneur beginning with business ideas, naming the business, and writing the business plan. A resource section includes books about entrepreneurs for elementary and upper elementary students, a timeline of women entrepreneurs, and numerous additional resources.
