Jenny Found a Penny (Math is Fun!)
This book is about a girl, Jenny, who finds a penny under her mom’s bed. She decides to save the penny in an empty jar. She proceeds to look all over her house for change she can save. After she finds one dollar in change her sister takes her to the store to buy something. Jenny picks out something she wants and takes it to the register. When the clerk is ringing her out Jenny realizes she does not have enough money to cover the tax on the item. Her and her sister leave the store. Jenny is extremely upset and gets even more upset when she drops her jar outside. While picking up the coins she finds ano ther one and is able to go back and purchase the item.
