Lemonade Parade
This attractive book with a humorous text and illustrations recounts the experiences of Patty and her friends who have an unsuccessful lemonade stand on a very hot day. After Patty’s father sees the 3 entrepreneurs yawning, stretching and looking very gloomy, he thought for a moment and grinned. Within a few minutes a gold prospector comes by, then a race car driver, followed by an astronaut, an undercover agent, a rock star and other interesting customers come by all wearing red tennis shoes. The entrepreneurs are thrilled at the end of the day and report back to Patty’s father who is exhausted.
