This book it about a little pea who must eat his dinner before being allowed to have dessert. The twist is that since he is a pea, his dinner is candy! Little Pea does not like candy but he must eat it in order to receive dessert, which isn’t your normal dessert, it’s a vegetable. Little Pea negotiates with his mother to eat the candy and then receives his dessert in return.
