A little boy does not want to go shopping with his mother. He would rather stay at home and play than go shopping for clothes and groceries. Llama Llama grows more and more angry in the store and then explodes with a fit, throwing everything out of the cart. After his mother talks to him about the necessity of buying groceries he helps her pick up the items he has thrown out. He finds out that shopping is not fun for his mother either but they need certain items and have to spend time getting them. Llama can also have a treat (incentive) after they finish shopping.
