Market!
This book takes the reader through markets around the world: Ecuador, Nepal, Ireland, Uganda, the United States, and Morocco. Each “chapter,” or market location, describes the people who come to market, what they’re wearing, what they’re saying, what they’re selling, and how they sell it. In Ecuador, people come to market to sell onions and potatoes, sweaters and ponchos. In Morocco, people come to trade and haggle over the prices of donkeys, sheep, and cattle.
