This book is about a young boy who is from a poor family. He wants to get rich and famous by discovering a comet but needs to buy a telescope to do so. The story follows the odd-jobs he’s able to get and how he saves his money and deals with social issues of being poor. Charity and opportunity costs are also big themes.
