Stone Soup
When Grethel arrives in a village asking for food, the selfish villagers turn her down and hide their food. Grethel tells the villagers she will use a magic stone to make stone soup. After the large pot is filled with water, Gretchel suggests that the soup would be better with carrots, then potatoes and one by one other ingredients. After the villagers bring their hidden food and make contributions to the soup fit for a king, the villagers put together a feast for all to enjoy and credit Grethel for preparing the magical stone soup.
