Strega Nona
In this Tomie de Paola version of an old tale, Strega Nona is thought to have a magic touch in curing a headache, getting rid of warts, and making special potions for girls who want husbands. Strega Nona hired Big Anthony to sweep the house, wash the dishes, and opther jobs but told him NOT to touch the magic pot.
