Brother and Sister Bear do not know how to spend their money wisely. Mama and Papa Bear decide to give their children an allowance, but it doesn’t work because they spend their money as soon as they receive it. Mama Bear felt as if they needed to learn how to manage their money. Brother and Sister Bear are given an old checkbook to learn how to manage their money and see everything that they spend. In this book, students learn about managing their money and about how to use a checkbook. In the book there are some play checks that help students to visualize and practi ce writing checks. Students learn through the book the importance of saving money so you can buy something more expensive in the future, and that you do not need to spend money right away.
