Gardener, The
This is a story that takes place during the 30’s. The family is going throughout tough times and have decided to send the daughter to the city to live with her uncle. The book touches on scarcity of money during this time and how hard it was to get a job. Once the father finds a job, the daughter can once again live with her parents.
