Tight Times
Tight Times is a story of a boy who lives with his parents in an apartment in New York City. The boy wants a dog but is told times are tight so the family cannot get one now. Soon, father loses his job and times are worse. When the boy finds a scraggly kitty, he is able to keep him and name him Dog.
