Up Goes the Skyscraper!
The architects and surveyors plan the building, the bulldozers, cranes, and workers do their jobs, and finally the carpenters, plumbers, and electricians finish the building. The reader learns the step-by-step method of building a skyscraper as well as terms such as pilings, the core, and tower cranes. Building a skyscraper requires human capital, capital resources and natural resources. Because each worker has a role and depends on the others to do a good job, building a skyscraper is also an example of interdependence.
